This was the third home that we have constructed and quite frankly, based on our experience from the first two, we should have never built another. I only wish that we had found Fred Dowdy for the first home rather than what probably will be our last. In any business or personal relationship trust needs to be the foundation. The first thing that comes to mind in reflecting our experience with Fred is trust. He brought things to our attention that resulted in credits to our account that could have been easily overseen. He worked wonderfully and in concert with our architect. As long as two or more years after our project was complete, Dowdy Construction didn't hesitate to come back and make some minor repairs that really could have been questionable as to responsibility. His entire staff from his Administrative Assistant, Jennifer, to his full time help and subs always conducted themselves with the a high degree of professionalism and customer service rarely found in any business.
